Who are we?

Mintlaw Veterinary Surgery is a companion animal practice that opened in June 1997. We have been in our modern, purpose built clinic since January 2010 and are proud to be a RCVS accredited practice.

Our aim is to provide a high quality, caring and personal service to our clients.

We offer expert veterinary care for cats, dogs, and rabbits. Our services include vaccinations, consultations, microchipping, spaying, neutering, dental cleaning, and nail clipping, ensuring your pet’s long-term health. Our experienced team provides compassionate, high-quality care in a welcoming environment. Whether it’s a routine check-up or advanced treatment, we prioritise your pet’s well-being.

Our nurses play a very important role in the smooth running of the practice. They see clients for a number of clinics, and are also responsible for admitting and discharging patients for surgery. Our nurses also see clients for minor procedures such as nail clipping, anal glands, microchipping, blood samples and suture removal. In addition, Laura our head nurse, is a qualified pet arthritis counsellor.
